Ronan Farrell

RF Design, National University of Ireland Maynooth

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineerin at NUI Maynooth. Since 2005 I have been director of the Callan Institute. I am theme leader in two SFI funded centres: CTVR and the Strategic Cluster for Advanced Geotechnologies (StratAG). My personal research interests include circuit design, radio and wireless technologies and I have published over 60 peer reviewed book chapters, journal and conference publications, and filed a number of patents. I have a keen interest in the exploitation of research and I have been involved in two company spin-outs from NUI Maynooth
